MaxAccel’s focus is developing web-based software solutions to drive safety, compliance, operational efficiency and ROI for our customers. Over 200 Class 2 and 3 freight railroads, passenger operations and railroad contractors rely on the suite of MaxAccel AssetPro™ and SafeTrack™ applications every day.
Through our market leading SafeTrack platform, customers are currently offered a core set of crew management functions including employee certification status, extra board management, employee communications, hours of service compliance, job/territory qualification and payroll with claims and arbitraries.
Using this proven foundation, development of our new SafeTrack Crew™ application is underway and in the coming months system capabilities will expand to include the areas of job scheduling and correlated staffing tailored to customer requirements and the market in general.
While our competitors attempt to scale down their larger systems built for a Class 1 or similar environment, SafeTrack Crew will be specifically designed to meet the less intensive requirements of small to mid-sized railroads. This is an elemental difference in approach and ultimately we believe SafeTrack Crew will provide a more economical and streamlined crew management application.
The SafeTrack Mobile™ smart-phone app will also offer a range of benefits to Train and Engine employees and our SafeTrack customers in general. Real time job and extra board status will inform employees of their upcoming work assignments along with supplemental information important to their quality of life. The app will also manage distribution of electronic rule books, bulletins and other important communications in cellular-connected and offline modes.
